Thanks for visiting!
I am ALICE, a UX/UI designer who challenges the status quo wherever I see an opportunity to do so. I am a creative thinker who enjoys problem-solving and communicating my ideas through different mediums to create unique experiences.
With my passion for design, and education background in interior architecture, floristry, and pastry arts, I bring a fresh perspective to each project. While living in Taiwan, I created a floral design studio and since moving to Vancouver, I have opened an award-winning dessert and champagne restaurant in the city called Mosquito.
These experiences led me to discover UX/UI design. I had been searching for a people-centric field that embraces change and creativity for a long time. I am fascinated by the fast-paced technology industry and how it impacts our lives on a daily basis. I wasn’t always as comfortable with technology as I am now, so I am sensitive to the needs of others when designing a user-friendly product.
Good design is something that not only improves the quality of our lives, but also engages and surprises people while telling a compelling story. This is the experience I hope to give users, offering them a product that is both aesthetically beautiful and comfortable to use.
When I’m not designing user experiences, I can be found at an art gallery, trying new restaurants, cooking, seeing the world, and pursuing other creative outlets. I also enjoy a good conversation with like-minded people and I am delighted to meet people who share similar values.
